Have you even read the s...EXCUUUUUUUSSSSSEEEEE ME! Have you even read the series? Why don´t you read the books and find out some more information to back this up?? If you had actually read the books and seen the movie like any good critic would do you would have noticed that these vampires DON´T live a spectacular life. Sure they have money, designer clothes, and expensive sports cars but that means NOTHING. Going through everyday trying not to kill your girlfriend because you thirst for her blood does NOT sound like a very glamorous life to me. Or how about the Cullens being outsiders and not fitting in at school because everyone calls them FREAKS doesn´t sound too great either. It is fine that you have your opinion but it is NOT fine that you are panning the books and movie so badly without any detail of any sort to back up this article. If you had read the books you would have noticed that the vampires were described as GODS. Are you pissed that this is not a typical vampire movie that will scare your kids and not let them sleep for the next few weeks?? You should be happy that children can watch this at night without being terrified of being left home alone. Also, the books have a very good message...it´s called ABSTINENCE! In every book when Bella is trying to get laid by her GORGEOUS vampire boyfriend (later fiance) he has continuesly stopped her and told her to wait until they are married. Unless you don´t mind your kids getting pregnant when they are still in Middle/High School then this might not matter. I know that if I got pregnant while I was still in school my mother would MURDER me. This is coming from a 12 year old (soon to be 13 :))who happens to be a very big fan of the Twilight series. I am not just saying this because I love Twilight. I am writing this extremely long comment because this article is TERRIBLE. It would take an IDIOT to say that a book is a bad influence because you think that teens are going to start dressing in black and wearing eyeliner and guyliner. I am in love with the Twilight series like most of the girls in my school and you don´t see most of my fellow fanatics going goth. So if you wouldn´t continue talking crap about a topic that you know nothing about it would be greatly apprecieated. <br /> ~SabrinaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
